Visited last night for a friends birthday and can’t begin to explain what an incredible time we had. Our server was exceptional. He was chatty, funny and confident. His manager was also great, she was approachable and charming. Both a real asset to this venue and we had a blast. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thanks for a great night!
This is such a great venue in Preston. The food was excellent. The presentation was lovely. The staff genuinely want you to enjoy your evening. The house Gin was very good & the bar was the best stocked we came across. Lots of variety. Mick & Christina are doing a fantastic job with this place & if you're in Preston, you should, absolutely try it. Thanks for a lovely night. Just as an aside, they're dog friendly too!
The food was really great. The serving sizes were just enough, and really amazing. The place had a fantastic atmosphere, and we enjoyed everything about it. We had a really good time there. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived until we left. We're excited to go back again soon.
Huge appreciation for the wonderful experience my mum and I had at 1842. We visited for an early Mother's Day treat which was an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and cared for. I especially want to commend Kayden, who looked after us throughout the night. His exceptional service made us feel like royalty and significantly enhanced our dining experience. He's a real asset to 1842! In addition to the outstanding service, the food was delicious and the decor was stunning. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

What a gem! Welcomed by the owner, Mick. Cocktails made expertly. Recommend the espresso martini and gin flavoured shots. The building has been restored beautifully and sympathically. Great vibe, excellent service. Highly Highly recommended. PS. Love the nod to Alice in Wonderland.
